Ford offers three new sophistication and transmission that was changed to Edge’s SEL, Limited, and Sports lineup. Now, there is the base 2.0-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost is expected to provide best in class mpg, about 15% more fuel than the current Edge 3.5-liter six. A repeated 3.5-liter (285 hp and 253 pounds-ft) puts out 20 more horses than the previous editions and is said to be cleaner and more fuel efficient than anything before.

Like the Mustang, both V-6 plant to use Ford TiVCT, or twin independent variable camshaft time, for improved fuel economy and horsepower, and lower emissions.
Close associates of new Ford Edge’s exterior and you’ll see a little, but the changes are distinguished. Upgrades such as more streamlined headlights, front grille that is more daring, fresh wheel designs and a more prominent chin spoiler to make a clean, sophisticated look that is better aligned with the named competitors, Lexus RX350, BMW X5, Audi Q5, Acura MDX, and Nissan Murano . Pilar A-game is more smoothly with redesigned hood. At the rear, new taillights reach jewel-like appearance and married with 4-inch chrome exhaust pipe. A blacked-out grille with matching head and smoked rear lights – plus some bodywork painted – Sport distinguish from other trims. Ford called the design update “more expressive” and “courageous.” From what has been shown so far, we tend to agree.

You can see that love the original Edge-or-hate-it grille razor has cut back on 2011 models. Although the new grille is still quite large, and both front lights remind us just a little over on the front of the Ford Taurus, one of the better looking cars in the Ford lineup.
Down side of the 2011 Ford Edge, you will see a re-shaped rear quarter window that gives the illusion that the rear roof line more quickly and generally assist medium-size crossover Ford appear less boxy and stout.
The door handle is slightly longer, too, and would seem to be chrome on some models. And we hope that this wheel-spec production, too, because they are comfortable for large and vaguely reminiscent of the wheel in Europe-only Focus ST.
