From January to September of 2009 Hyundai Australia experienced a large increase in sales by 36 percent. And in the same period last year of their competitors from Japan lost market share due to the economic downturn. Global companies have increased sales outstanding 61.3 percent this year.
Hyundai Getz is the best in automobile sales, sales of i30 is the third best in its class behind the Corolla and Mazdza2, Tucson is the best-selling compact SUVs and still iLoad second best selling van.
2010 Hyundai Santa Fe may not have the mandate to brag about yet, but as a work of corporate innovation and desire to succeed, has been a huge success for Hyundai.
Previous models sold around 250 units per month and to put it in perspective, Toyota Prado and Kluger and Holden’s Korean sourced Captiva sells an average of more than 1,000 units per month and the Ford Territory about 900 signs.
As usual with the car company, when a model is about half way through a few cycles of life will change a few bumpers and added some new alloys for interested buyers. The 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe is essentially the same deal, except that now there is a new turbo diesel engine and transmission systems.

New R-2.2 turbo diesel engine is the same unit found in the recently released all-new Kia Sorento, jointly developed by Hyundai / Kia at a cost of nearly $ 250 million that produces 145kW and 436Nm of torque (421Nm manual mode).
If you want more reason to find 2010 Hyundai Santa FE seriously you just need to admire these efforts put into the gearbox. Until now only Toyota, General Motors and Ford gearbox built their own internally, and after four long years, Hyundai / Kia is now able to join the exclusive list of groups.

Six-speed automatic transmission after 12 kg lighter than the five-speed it replaces. Measuring 41mm shorter and uses fewer parts 62. This is also a fully enclosed unit, does not require oil changes or a form of service. This is designed to last for a period of life vehicles.
During the Global Challenges Green recently, where 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe drove more than 3,000 km from top to bottom of Australia (co-piloted by none other than our own John Cadogan editor), the value of fuel as a whole is an average of 5.1L / 100km, a 23.8 percent increase in combined fuel ADR figures. Interestingly it was only defeated his main rival Kia Sorento that uses the engine and gearbox together, plus the weight of about 80kg less.
Hyundai took the automotive press to Adelaide to test drive the 2010 Hyundai Santa FE in 2010, winding through the mountains and dirt roads. The most visible feature of the new Hyundai Santa Fe is updated rear light clusters gives the car a much more modern presence. In front of the new grill has done little but to the untrained eye a facelift can be a bit too subtle.

Moving in and you’ll see some more subtle changes, such as carbon graphite force and effect of aluminum accents throughout the cabin finished. An embedded camera is also contrary to the driver’s rearview mirror on a high spec variants.

Features taken including USB audio input with iPod ® compatibility, cruise control and steering wheel mounted controls and heated outside mirrors. Increases in the range and you do not even need a traditional key by pressing the start button and the proximity key included.
Two interesting new features found in 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe is the emergency brake system and rollover sensors. 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe says the computer will detect when the driver suddenly applied much pressure on the brake pedal in an emergency situation and automatically applies maximum braking pressure. Not all-new revolutionary idea but still a great feature.

Roll-over sensors on the other side is usually found in a convertible, so interesting that we find them in Hyundai Santa Fe 2010. If the sensors detect roll-over soon, seat belt pretensioners to attract passengers back to their seats and side airbags spread.
With the capacity to carry seven passengers, Santa Fe 2010 is a very practical car, but after a brief two-minute tasks in the third row, it is fair to say this is best used for children or drive very short distances if the adults involved.

All about the handling and ride comfort exactly what is expected, predictable and pleasant. Although some of the holes and over 30km on dirt roads, there was no sudden shock through the cabin or ‘ouch’ moment. Turning circle is also seen increases.
Mountain road winding tight and well-behaved Santa Fe 2010, end to end it will handle and accelerate hard when asked. There is little direct torque coming through the front wheels at times, but that was quickly corrected himself as the transfer of power to the rear.

180km later and we were driving fuel economy average 10.4L/100km, not just 7.5L/100km we hope and no where near achieved 5.1L/100km in the Global Green Challenge. On the fuel economy of justice is not high on the agenda when we fly through a hilly dirt road.
Overall, the updated 2010 Santa Fe is a very tough competitor in the class and a must in the list of considerations.
