2010 Honda Element

The 2010 Honda Element is a compact crossover SUV available in three trim levels: LX, and SC Ex. The Element LX and the Ex is available in both front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configuration, while the sport-tuned SC is front-wheel drive only. Base LX comes with 16-inch steel wheels, a urethane utility floor, moisture resistant seats, folding and removable rear seat, height-adjustable driver’s seat, air conditioning, full power accessories, a tilt steering wheel, cruise control, keyless entry and four speaker CD audio system.

Every 2010 Honda Element is equipped with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine rated 166 horsepower and 161 pound-feet of torque. Five-speed manual transmission standard, with five-speed automatic optional. Front-wheel drive is the default configuration, while the AWD model is available in LX and Ex.

The element standard antilock disc brakes with brake assist, stability control, active control of the front head, front seat side impact airbags and full-length side curtain airbags.

Honda Element only seats four – a disadvantage compared with other compact SUVs – but the rear passengers enjoy more space and better visibility, thanks to the theater-style seating. Cargo capacity is also unique: In the back seat removed, the element can contain an impressive 75 cubic feet of teeth. The floor was covered with urethane, which allows someone to be careful the hose after day weekend surfing or camping.
