2010 BMW 7 Series Sedan White Front View

2010 BMW 7 Series, which was inaugurated in 2009 Detroit Auto Show got a V-12 engine. The Bavarians are moving up the standard of exclusivity with the two top models, the New 2010 BMW 760i and 760Li.

Both standard and long model (of the wheel base was extended by 5.5 inches) have fully developed a new 6.0-liter V-12 engine that offers 400 kW/544 hp at 5,000 rpm and 750 Nm or 553 pounds-ft of torque from just 1500 rpm. The new all aluminum motor TwinPower turbo technology, high precision injection and double-VANOS camshaft control camshaft adjustment. This will join the eight-speed automatic transmission which really new to the BMW model range.

For the year 2010 and beyond is to increase the stakes BMW with 535 hp, 6.0-liter, turbocharged V12 powering the 760Li. To 760Li sticker price will start at $ 136,600. This makes the 760Li is the only large luxury sedan in this price point available with V12 in the U.S. market.

V-12 models come standard with Dynamic Damping Control including Dynamic Driving Control that can be operated by a button on the center console. Standard speed is also related to the Servotronic steering assistance, and BMW Dynamic Drive anti-roll stability system. Long version includes a leveling air suspension on rear axle.

Available as an option is the BMW driver assistance systems. They include Lane Change Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Active Cruise Control with Stop-&-Go function, BMW Night Vision with detection of individual person, BMW Head-Up Display, a back-up camera and Side system.

Complementing standard headlights bi-xenon offers BMW High-Beam Assistant and Adaptive Headlights including Bending Light, light distribution and light variable adaptive control range as an option.

Four-wheel steering will be included in the 2010 BMW 7 Series options list, along with all-wheel drive xDrive is known as an option. With four-wheel rear-wheel steering system will be turned in the opposite direction as the front with a speed below 35 mph, and will appear three degrees in the same direction as the speed rises above it.
